Food is my spirit animal :)

Hello world,  Today’s blog is about food. Who does not love food. Food is my spirit animal :) Growing up, my mom had it hard. I was a super picky eater and I still am. I am a big fruit eater but I do not like many vegetables. What is everyone's favorite fruit? Mine would have to be peaches or oranges. I usually eat one of those every day if possible.  Going into my freshman year, I still lived with my parents, so I did not have to worry much about food. I would cook dinner every now and then but my mom did most of the cooking. Well, at the start of my sophomore year in college, my fiance started renting a house and I started to stay over there more often than my mom and dad's house. With that came the responsibility to cook dinner almost every time I stayed over. I was not that I did not know how to cook, I just did not have a lot of time to cook these time consuming meals due to me being a full time college student with a crazy schedule. That is when I started googling...

What is time management? :)

Hello world, Today's blog is about my awful time management skills.. So, in high school, I was in a full time softball sport, and was a competitive dancer. I played softball games Feburary-August and not practiced August-January. I also was a competitive dancer who spent three days out of the week at the dance studio. If I would have been smart, I would have used my studyhall times to do the homework so I did not have to stay up super late finishing them. But if anyone remembers my last post..  I love to procrastinate. By my junior year in high school, I finally figured out how to manage my time between my busy life. I would take any free time I had throughout the school day (including lunch) to work on any work I needed to get done. I was taking college credit courses and a foreign language, so nothing was super easy. ...

Procrastination

Hello world, I think I can speak for most college students when I say we have, at least once, waited till the last minute to actually finish an assignment... we wait until the day or two before something is due to start the assignment. This has for sure happened to me. Just here recently I turned in an assignment at 11:50 pm when it was due by 11:59. I had 9 minutes to spare I guess :) I started this research paper the morning of it being due. I figured I would have plenty of time to finish it, it seemed pretty easy. Well to my lucky surprise... it was a little more difficult than I thought. I have a tendency to get sidetracked really easy. I would watch the T.V more than typing the paper, so I turned some music on. That did not work either, all I wanted to do was sing along, so I could not think straight. I ended up sitting in my quiet room, all alone, until it was done. This was not the first time I had procrastinated and I am 100% sure it will not be the last. Growing up, I al...
